All UP ACM members who would like to join the UP ACM Java Special Interest Group (Java SIG) are asked to come to the SIG’s first meeting for the academic year on Thursday, October 16, at 1 in the afternoon 11 in the morning. The meeting will be held at the Classroom 2 of the UP Alumni Engineers Centennial Hall (more commonly known as the Engineering Library 2 and Department of Computer Science Building).

Non-members are also invited to join the SIG on the condition that they will apply as a member of UP ACM this coming semester.

UP ACM and Orange & Bronze Software Labs Ltd. Co. bring you the second lecture of the UP ACM Java Lecture Series. This time, it’s about Java Micro Edition, the Java platform used for making mobile applications. Guest speaker will be Mr. Aris Villarin of MEGAMobile Inc.
