This coming June 23 and 30, 2007, UP ACM, together with the UP CURSOR will conduct Knowledge, Information, and Skills Sharing Sessions(KISSS). It is a free tutorial which is aimed to benefit the incoming UP Diliman freshmen, Computer Science students, and everyone else from UP and other schools who would be interested to join. Now on its third year, the topics that will be included in the tutorial are Flash, Photoshop, Blender, and HTML/CSS.

The UP ACM-JUG Java Tutorial was given by Mr. Aldwin Lee (Manager of UP JRDC) last Saturday, January 20, 2007, at the UP Java Research & Development Center (UP JRDC) at the UP-Ayala Technopark.
The tutorial covered basic Java which included background of the Java programming language and a hands-on practice on classes, data types, overloaded constructors, parameter passing, methods and command line arguments.
Participants of the tutorial were students from the College of Business Administration, College of Engineering, College of Education and the Institute of Library and Information Science which included UP ACM-JUG members and non-members.
