Tag! You’re It!

It’s renewal/application period again for UP ACM! But this year, the membership committee is launching our very first recruitment contest:

Tag! You’re It! : The UP ACM Membership Contest!

Mechanics:

  1. Tag! You’re It! is a recruitment drive of the UP ACM which is open to both members and non-members of the student chapter but excluding its council and alumni.
  2. Any UP student may be recruited since UP ACM is a university-wide organization.
  3. An award will be given to the recruiter in the following categories:
    • referred the highest number of CS students
    • referred the highest number of non-CS students
    • referred the highest number of CS and non-CS students combined
  4. For the referral to be valid, the complete name of the referrer should exist on the referral field on the membership form.
  5. The referral is considered void if (1) there are vandalisms/erasures found on the referral field, and (2) the recruit is a former member of the org.
  6. In case of renewals, simply put “N/A” on the referral field.
  7. A recruiter can only win a single category. The council will tally and rank recruiters based on the number of members they recruited in the designated categories and then decide the winners for each category.
  8. The end of the campaign which is on July 27 is also the end of membership renewal.
  9. Additionally, upon the end of the campaign, MEMBERS (AY 2006-2007) who had referred more than 5 new members will receive a Certification of Appreciation for Service to UP ACM.
  10. The prizes will be announced at the end of the campaign.

For membership forms, you may get them at the CS New Bldg (c/o Ate Mila), ask from any UP ACM Council, or download it here.

To get recruitments tips, you may visit our website or email us at membership[AT]upacm[DOT]net.

Good luck!
