There will be a General Assembly on August 12, 2008.
Matters that will be discussed include, but may not be limited to: Y4iT Volunteering, T-shirt Design Contest Winner, and official announcement of committee assignments. There will also be a photoshoot for the Membership ID; no ID picture, no Membership ID.
This is a very important General Assembly to attend, so attendance is a MUST.

Wondering where to submit your requirements for renewal? You may submit them to Ate Mila, 3rd floor of the UPAE Centennial Hall (Department of Computer Science). SUBMIT YOUR FORMS AND REQUIREMENTS TOGETHER, and STAPLE THEM.

Application and Renewal Period for UP ACM is now officially open!
Application forms are available in both online and offline formats. Offline (paper-based) forms are only available on UP ACM events during the application process.
TO GIVE WAY FOR OUR UNIVERSITY RECOGNITION, THE DEADLINE OF APPLICATION AND RENEWAL IS ON JUNE 30, 2008. No late applications will be entertained.
Requirements:
JOIN ACM INTERNATIONAL, the world’s oldest and largest computing society!
To join, accomplish the application form, and pay an additional US $18 for 1 year ACM International Student Membership fee.

A new version of the UP ACM Web site was deployed Sunday, May 11th 2008, after undergoing a test run for almost three weeks.
The redesign was part of a plan to integrate the old Web site and the official Web log, which often contained the same content.
New to the Web site are (a) an event management system, (b) a public chat room, and (c) an online application form.
51 out of 135 UP ACM members, or 37.78% voted in the 2008 elections.
The results are as follows:

2. Lalaine Chen - 37 votes ( 72.55% )
3. J. Allen Santos - 37 votes ( 72.55% )
