ACM ICPC Philippines 2008

UP ACM congratulates the UP Diliman Programming Team for a successful campaign in the recently concluded 2nd Philippine National Inter-Collegiate Competition held on 22 November 2008 at the University of San Jose-Recoletos, Basak Campus, Cebu City, Philippines.

Five UP ACM members took part in the competition:

  1. Bande, Neil Armin
  2. Montalbo, Joseph Jesneil
  3. Pinca, Apple
  4. Pineda, Ralph Raniel
  5. Sze, Jennylyn

The six UPD teams (each of which had three members) got the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 10th, and 11th places. Kudos to the Team and its coach, Mr. Eric Tambasacan, who got the Best Coach award! For more information, please visit Dr. Raffy Saldana’s blog. (Photo courtesy of Neil Bande)

    Sir James Wyson, former UPACM Chairperson, is the assistant coach of these teams. He supported us all the way. Go go go UP ACM!
