Apple Roadshow: Macintosh in Education – Revisited

The Macintosh in Education seminar was delivered by Sarah Lumang (Product Manager of Apple) at the Beta Epsilon Multimedia Hall of the UP College of Engineering. The topics discussed were ‘Why Apple in Education‘, an introduction to some tools such as GarageBand, Office 2004, Spotlight, Dashboard, etc., and some demos for each of the applications. Participants of the seminar prepared by Portia Paras of Ynzal Marketing and the UP ACM Student Chapter were mostly composed of Engineering faculty and students. A raffle of iPod accessories was given at the end of the seminar.
